Private sessions

Select from a range of carefully curated spaces designed meet you wherever you are in your relationship with your body, and guide you into greater intimacy with yourself.

  1. Mind-Body Mapping: dedicate yourself entirely to meeting your body. This is devotional space to listen to your body.

  2. Mind-Body Inquiry: build a dialogue between your mind and your body to better understand your relationship patterns, habits and desires.

  3. Creative Mentoring: dialogue with your subconscious, your dreams and your body to drive a specific project forward.

From body awareness to project-oriented thinking, open the door between your mind and your body and enter into deeper relationship with yourself, your life, and the world around you. Align your thoughts, feelings and actions for improved wellbeing.

  • Create an animate cartography of your inner worlds. Over the course of 6 private sessions, draw up a living map of your body, inside and out.

    During these sessions we will take time to connect with small areas of your body, inside and out, your limbs, your organs, your bones. You will learn to attune to the different areas in your body, learn to listen for signals, stories, memory.

    This work helps you to better idenfity symptoms, respond to emotions, and understand disturbances in your body. Releasing the emotional charge in specific areas of the body can also create profound shifts in your energy levels, and how feel.

    The set duration for this work is 6 weeks. Ongoing sessions are required in order to pace the journey and allow for deep release. If you would like to go deeper, there is a 3-month option.

    This is a wonderful starting point if:

    • you are a body-based parctitioner and you would like to go deeper in your work

    • you experience chronic or recurring aches and pains

    • you have never done any body work before and you would like to become acquainted with your body

  • Take a deep dive into the symbolic realm and uncover the meaning that lives in your body and movements. Gain a deeper understanding of your relationship dynamics, decision making processes and desires.

    These sessions offer space for depth inquiry into any theme that you would like to explore in your life right now. This could be a relationship pattern, a recurring emotional experience, a body symptom, a dream, a workplace dynamic. As you do this work you will understand just how much precious information is lying dormant inside you in each moment.

    This process will help you shed light on any area of your life you choose to look at, and will support you towards more aligned, authentic living.

    This is supportive to you if:

    • you want greater insight into what moves you

    • you want to move past destructive patterns and habits

    • you are seeking more meaning in your life

  • Engage your body, your dreams and your imagination to overcome creative blocks, gain greater clarity into what drives you, and reconnect to your creative spark.

    These sessions are more directional, conversational and action-oriented. We will dive deep into your subconscious, and re-emerge with ideas, understandings and visions that will help offer you greater clarity in your work.

    This is for creative practitioners, academic researchers, business owners, and senior leaders.

    This can help you if:

    • you have become stuck with a project

    • you want to better align your work with your values and lead with integrity

    • you have lost the creative spark that inspires you to work

What a session might look like

Sessions can be online or in person. Each session lasts 90 minutes. This gives your body time to settle and ground, and open up at its own tempo. The arc of each session will be guided to gently and carefully bring you into your body.

  • All sessions will start with a small practice to open the space. You will then be guided into a grounding meditation and take time to meet and feel into your whole body.

  • We will then begin to explore the session theme that you bring that week. We will begin with dialogue. As you talk about the question at hand I will notice gestures, shifts in your body, tone of voice, choice of words, repeatitions, and we will take those as a starting point to dive into the deeper embodied material.

  • We will use a range of modalities to do this, including movement, breathwork, free-writing, drawing, poetry, role play, meditation, creative dialogue, silence and body based touch. They will be offered depending on your process and what is coming up in the moment. You are always at choice to decline or redirect. Each practice is selected to help clarify, release, unblock and move stagnant energies.

  • At the end of the session we will take time to land everything that has moved, and ground back into your body. We will end with a small practice to close the space, and you will leave with some sort of a gift - from you to yourself - to bring with you into your week.

  • By the end of the session you will feel your energy moving more clearly through your body. You might feel more alert and alive, you may also feel tired as your body assimilates new information.

  • In the days and weeks that follow the session you will notice subtle (and sometimes not-so-subtle) shifts in the way you respond to situations, in how you express yourself, your ability to listen to your body, and in your creative energy.

  • Over time, you will feel more alert to your senses, more connected to your desires, more energised, and more in touch with yourself. You will also have gathered a range of tools to support yourself in your day-to-day life.

Aftercare

  • After each session: Take time to rest, digest and assimilate. You might want to journal, meditate, dance, sit in nature, rest in bed. It can be nice to prepare something delicious, grounding and nourishing to eat in advance, so you have all the space in the world to follow your flow post-session. Where possible try and avoid scheduling work or social commitments.

  • Ongoing: The more you honour your boundaries and make choices that bring pleasure and ease to your system, the more your system learns to trust you. Your nervous system is able to relax and your body will speak to you with increasing clarity. Community can support you to keep honouring yourself and make affirming choices. There are many beautiful groups and organisations out there, online or in person. We are looking at ways of doing this here. Watch this space…

Further information

Duration

All sessions last 90 minutes. This is to allow for depth. Our bodies need time to communicate. We often move through the world in states of contraction, so we need time to soften and establish safety at the beginning of a session, time to talk, and time to ground and close gently at the end of a session.

Frequency

Body-Mind Mapping sessions require a committment of 6 weeks due to their nature.

All other sessions are booked on a weekly or fornightly basis. At your first session we will establish an anticipated duration, but you are at choice to pause, or stop sessions at any point.

Platform

All sessions can take place either online or in-person. All in-person sessions need to be booked at least 1 week in advance.

In person sessions are available in West Dorset, Bournemouth, and South London.

Cost

All sessions cost £120 per 90 minutes.
